Good News for Grt. Ouse Barbellers!

Recommended Posts

Guest David Johnson

Hi all,

Just received this Email from MKAA (Milton Keynes Angling Association):

Dear David

>Thank you for your Email. We are pleased to announce that all our stretches of the Ouse will be open as normal as of the 16th. Having said that there is a match booking at Adams Mill for that day although I have heard that the group who booked it will not in-fact be fishing so it may be worth looking.

>Great news as this means lots of the finest barbel stretches of the Ouse will be open for business smile.gif Only bad news I've had is from Vauxhall A.C. who will not be re-opening Radwell on the 16th (They hope to open it very soon), although Verulam's Radwell section is partially open. RMC Tyringham is also open smile.gif

Hope this makes some of you happy

Dave

The bad news is:

1. All the Ouse barbel have moved five miles downstream ( biggrin.gif), and

2. If you are a member of the Kickles syndicate, I shouldn't bother trying to fish on a club card elsewhere ('cos you're now persona non granta).

Whoosker...

Dr Bruno

Hope the fish haven't all been swept away?! Fish Biology's not my field, have you tagged them? wink.gif

I usually fish MKAA's Ravenstone section (which is well downstream of Adams mill smile.gif) No, I'm not a member of the Kickles syndicate smile.gif phew...

That is great news, what a great river

I know this is might be old news:

A very good rumour has it that Kickles farm was lost to a group of NPAA anglers colluding with the Farmer.

If true, very naughty move on the part of the club members.

There is a guy posting on this site who is NPAA bailiff, -I won't name him as I don't want to put him on the spot-

But maybe oneday he'll give us all the S.P on what really happened

- He wasn't involved in any way, but might know the real facts
