Guernsey bass fishery

Mike Thrussell has an article in this week's Anglers Mail about the bass fishing off Guernsey early in the year.

There is also an interesting piece on the promotion of alternative species as food that have not seen much commercial exploitation so far.

Many of these eg conger, ling and pollack can still be caught in good sizes by the angler.

If they become fashionable down the local Tesburys then this situation may not last.
