Where are the Devon flounder this year?

Is it me or are the flounder staying in hiding this year in Devon and Cornwall. Have had several trips to renowned marks and have managed to catch one fish!

This time last year we had been fishing for 2 months already with great results.

Is it me or is anyone else struggling.

:confused: They're a bit scarce in the Thames too mate - and it's getting worse each year!

Have a run down to South Wales, plenty to share down here, but don't take them all, put some back, fine hooks and some catch and release please.

dont know about the southdevon fishing.but the taw in north devon is fishing very well.was a bit slow at first but fish over 2 1/2lb are now common.

Off to try again at the weekend so will let you know if any better.

Probably give the Taw a try over xmas, any advice on when and where would be great.
