reddish vale ponds

Hi could anyone give me some advice on fishing the reddish vale ponds, as i have not fished them for about 18 years.

I am about to go fishing back there as i live abot 20 mins away, in brinnington, i went down there for a wander around a few weeks ago and its changed from what i remember.

I also do alot of carp fishing now and i beleive there is some big carp in there but thats hear say ,if anyone could give me some advice on baits and where to fish i would be grateful.

I know from the last time i fished there back in the late 80"s that there were big bream and big roach but that was a long time ago .
