i'm thinking about fishing here this coming season can anyone give me any info on the fishery ie. fish stocks, tactics, which lake to go for etc

hi craig.. if its a thirty your after then your best bet is to join the gold syndicate.. and fish lake 5-6 this link might come in handy http://www.cypri.demon.co.uk/fishing/woolpack.htm recently a 43lber came from lake 6..but its all hush.. might even see you down there !! good luck m8

Woolpack is excellent, except for the fact that, romours have it that the syndicate members are catching the carp from 3 & 8 and putting them in 7, which i think is a totaly stupid idea, cos then the syndicats wont do wat they are meant to do, which is not catch alot all year, where as us other members can catch away ah well just a thought. lol

I do indeedy m8, but only on green card, cant afford syndicate anyways, hope to see yas down there somtime m8y, You will av 2 come and av a brew on me new stove. lol.

yeah probably gonna get a green card aswell will be comin over to av a look soon.

durin the close season is usualy the bussiest time, but on average i would say there is around 2-3 maybe even 4 anglers on there at one time,

 

By the way, Lake number 7 i believe it is, gets very full during the summer, at certain times, as all the syndicate members get together and have a social.
