I imagine they are since to my knowledge, other than a few barely successful (and mostly illegal) stockings of largemouth bass and bluegills, I don't think most are found in the UK at all.

On the other hand, we don't have barbel and I'd really have loved to give a go at them but the river closed season kept me to lakes only. We do have a thriving population of burbot though and I think they've gone extinct over your way.
