Latest trip on a secret Mid wales Lake

I know its called an Ocean kayak but when one of my Customers heard of my new hobby he invited me to his seldom fished lake to give it a go. Heavily weeded and overgrown he thought the Kayak would be ideal and he was keen to see what his modest stocking a few years back had grown too. Had a fantastic night , had to paddle in to get most of the pictures and found it easier to return the browns which took some time. All fish were returned except for a rainbow which took the fly well down. Will now post some piccys hopefully!

First photo was a 2.5Lb Brownie caught on a pheasant tale nymph . Saw loads of fry being herded out of the water so switched to an apetiser and hit this beauty , over 4lbs

Fantastic, wish there were some lakes down south that would let you go fish off the yak, very nice brownie by the way. :)
