Leaderboard

I use Shimano mini bait runners, not exactly cheap but ok. I also have a Cadence cs3 which is very light and does the job. Also have a couple of very cheap reels from Llidl, the s3000, cheap but surprisingly good.

The conditions were awful yesterday, muddy coloured water, a good chop and plenty of weed, not ideal for lure fishing. Hadn't planned on going today but looking out the window at 6am I was out of bed and down the beach pronto, it never fails to amaze me how the sea conditions change so quickly and dramatically. There were a few baitfish jumping out the water that gave me hope but in the end it was just one small schoolie that was most welcome after a few successive blanks.
