Welcome to the forum
I have a P13 angler and I am 5ft 9 and *cough* just under 14 stone! The prowler is big enough for me.
Hope that helps.

Lots of new members since last April > I am one of them!
The search function is not always useful as lots of pictures are no longer uploaded!
If we had a page for newbies with all the common questions on it would solve the problem of the older members having to answer the same questions

She aint very photogenic Stu, looks like one of our service barges in work but it will do what I want of it. The colour is nice though
Rumour has it that it will be the Pembrokeshire TUG KAYAK, to tow us to those longer maks. It will have a 20hp outboard and a barbeque to cook them freshly caught fish!

That score aint gonna stand for long once you see how much food I can carry on the new addition
Any pics of new addition?
Had a browse last night for some... impressed with the amount of deck space!

Details on insurance would be great
Might be an idea to insure in case something does happen, especially with the summer coming up and fishing new locations
-
do you have insurance on your kayak?
I can see the need but what kind of cost would it incur?
If you hit an car that is not insured then their claim is void, does the same apply if you hit a surfer etc that does not have insurance?
I know how important insurance is but what are the legal requirements?
-
why should a kayak have insurance? no different to a surfer etc
can think of a number of circumstances which could lead to litigation. eg imagine hitting a child in the surf or running over a snorkeller. could be accused of damaging lobster buoys.
Depends on location I suppose, I do not like to fish by people therefore would not apply to me!
A surfer is more likely to cause injury to someone in my opinion
Can see why people would need insurance but should be one rule for everyone
Anyone looked in to getting insurance?
-
Interesting thing, but you could not really do damage to others but boats etc can do damage to you.

Everyone is entitled to do what they want to their own motor
Just I would never have one on mine.
NEWT; pukka comment > How about - if it is fun and safe and suits you, go for it.
GB 50hp motor providing you attach a tow line to me!
I like peoples opinion even good or bad
always 2 sides to a story and can help complete important decisions
happy days all round

Can you videocam this motion and post video on here please!
Trying my best to follow those steps but very hard to visualise

I actually agree with Simon on this one
Defeats the object in my opinion!
More weight and more hassle

Fished Watwick a lot in the past from the shore, I would imagine it would be a cracking place to fish on the kayak
Good place for Wrasse, Pollock, Mackerel, Bull Huss etc

There are some idiots out on boats
Most people slow down or move away from you
I have only had one scary moment when I was out with GB, this £25k + was flying towards us and it was very shallow water (6ft), dont think he had a clue. It was also pretty dark
Kayakers should be seen and not heard, Safe paddling

Hi every one, I Am newbie.
I am looking to getting a prowler 13 and thought about colour.
My reasons are:-
Green = I just don’t like it.
Yellow = on a sunny day may suffer with a bit of glare.
Red = First colour to disappear in water and make me invisible.
I will be doing most of my fishing in and around Dale, Pemb’s as we have a holiday home there so I know a few good rock marks. If anyone knows any good marks around that area I would be grateful.
Thankyou.
Yellow, no glare and the best colour
orange and yellow mixed is cool too!
Few of us fish Pembokeshire

those of you that are buying PELI boxes will need to extend the retaining bungee and adapt the retaining button for a successful mount. This is how mine is retained, note the brass flat ended hook
that is why I have not used mine yet, I remember now
-
got my Peli box on ebay delivered for a £10
I have not really used it yet though

Have lived near WWC for nearlly all my life, I would prefer to buy from a local company but some of their prices are crazy!
I ordered 2 gimbal mounts, a rod master 2 and a scotty f/f holder from Hook 1 in the USA for £55 delivered, they wanted £104 for the same stuff
Would not even drop the price to encourage a sale
Dont know why, but can never seem to get any sort of deal there
