    I am new to sea fishing and I just ordered a fixed spool reel along with a suitable spool of 18lb line. Having read about the apparent difficultly in loading these reels to avoid chronic line twist I looked at numerous UK web sites for a tool to facilitate reel loading (and unloading). I was only able to find one solitary retailer and they were out of stock! Eventually I ordered the tool (called Lineminder) from a USA supplier which actually worked out cheaper than the UK site including postage. It seems incredible to me that such an apparently useful device (which is highly rated by users on USA sites) is not readily available or widely used in the UK. Does anyone know the reason for this?
