well im really just using most of the carp range from van den eyde, and adding some sweetcorn flavour liquid along with pellets

how much groundbait should i bait the swim up with though? im not quite sure if im chucking too much or to less in ..

has anyone ever fished there or heard anything about it? if so could you please please give me soem info, cheers

well in the packet of fake sweetcorn, there is 2 of each size, so ill probs throw the bigger ones on, and then a strawberry boilies on the other, then i might leave the missus while i take my waggler over to the other pond to try and catch the other 1s. she doesnt mind like lol, she is more than capable of landing her own carp, even though shes never caught one before...but shes caught some decent sized bream and she coped well lol, so i no my gears safe with her lol

just on a hair rig, 2 peices, fairly sized ones. ive got fishmeal groundbait and some of the van den eynd groundbait range.

hey lads, im off down to my local lake tomorrow for a bit of carping, was just wondering if any of you guys had any tips to help increase my chances?, il be using strawberry, tuna, spicy boilies along with fake sweetcorn. i have plenty of groundbait aswelll and i will be usin the feeder method most likely, so do you lads have any tips or tricks you could pass along to me to help increase my chances? cheers, henda

hiya, on monday im going to stamford which isnt far from wing lakes, and im taking my fishing gear with me , what i was wondering was, has anybody on this forum fished there? what is it like? also what baits should i still 2, and is it worth using the feeding method there? also are there any restrictions on what methods u can use? also info is appreciated thank you

hey guys, do you guys think that bait spray is a very effective additive to groundbait and boilies?. also is the fake sweetcorn as affective as people are making it out to be?

i now no that i am pretty damn useless at making carp rigs, ive seen the ones of the carp section here and they look good i just dont hav a clue what im doing with them to be honest lol, any help with any other methods/rigs

ive been fishing these past few weeks at my clubs lake, the lake isnt a huge lake but i know its populated with a lot of carp as i seen plenty of them a few weeks back when they were pairing up together for spawining, now since then ive been 4 times and caught nothing, ive been using all the recommended groundbaits, hemp, boilies, luncheon meat etc... and ive came up short with nothing.

yeah i know that touching them kills then but i use latex gloves which are wet before i touch the mackerel so i try my best not to harm them

does anyone know the size of an average mackeral shoal when they are all together?

i went mackerel fishing on sunday and came out with about 40 mackeral, i put around 30+ mackerel back and kept 10 or so for myself for frozen bait and something to eat... anyway what im trying to get as what actually is the best condition to fish for mackerel?, hide tide? low tide? im just not that sure

well id say my knowledge of carp so far is basic, so im just looking to learn more really, so a few angling magazines with pointers etc... in them would help, and really just to read more about carp and stuff..

im going to be fishing for mackeral on friday, but the weather is going to be slightly dull and the wind is forecast to be 17mph, will this effect my chances?

the weather here tomorrow is going to winds of 17mph, i will be fishing for carp, could anyone tell me if the wind will effect my chances?

i will be fishing for carp on wednesday morning and throughout the whole day, my part of the country is forecast for rain...could someone help me out and tell me if the rain would increase or decrease my chances?

well ive just phoned the baliff and he said theyve done spawning as they started in the middle of may

well last week the lake baliffs were fishing from the night time till the next day until about 1pm and they came out with 17 carp between them
