  3. i know this is a stupid thing to ask, but does anyone have a spare spool of 10lb or 12lb line, my local fishing shop is closed for refurbishment for 2 weeks and the closet one is in the city which is at least 10+ miles away... the reason im asking this is because i bought a new carp set off the internet which will be here in 1 or 2 days and i only have 8lb line and i am planning on going fishing on thursday or friday. if anyone would be generous enough to donate a spare spool of line to me then i would be oh so grateful, thanks

  20. well today me and my friend went fishing and we have a quite a pretty good day, we caught 19 fish in total, 10 roach and 9 perch, some of the roach were pretty ok size's and were fun to catch, we would of had more fish but at least 4 fish got off the hook as we got them toward the catch net lol. it was a pretty good day, with all the fish combined together id say it weighed around 9lbs +, i also took some photos for you to see.
  21. well today i went to testo's lake at boldon colliery, it was a good day i would say, caught well over 15 roach but only small ones like in the picture, but i was walking around and the water is that shallow that you can see the carp, there was 2 carp resting in the reeds together and i say they must of had to of been around 20lbs each, they were huge. anyway the roach were everywhere to be seen the in the shallows, i was catching them in 3 or 4 feet of water, and every where you loooked roach were popping there heads up onto the top of the water causing swerl pools and everything, testo's lake is full of roach that has to be said lol, and there is quite a few decent carp, it was also pretty weird what i found aswell as i walking around the lake i came to some weeds at the front of the lake and there seemed to be a decent sized tench stuck in there, whether it was just chasing a fly or whatever and got stuck im not sure, but i found it pretty weird for a tench of 2 or 3lbs to be in that shallow of water, but anyway the swan was coming toward it and it just swam off leaving a big splash behind it, all in all i would say it was a good day out, my girlfriend caught the biggest of the roach once again which was embarrasing but yeah we enjoyed it, nice hot day aswell.
