yeah the lake/pond is bigger than that...that photo there is only the part next to where i was fishing, to the left and right of me there is bigger parts ...its a nice nice lake and if your in the north east you should give it a go

also today when i was fishing i had a little incident with a lake officer, he asked for my license so i gave him it... he looked at it and tryed to say that it was out of date, we argued that it wasnt out of date for about 10minutes until he decided to throw his glasses on, but still then he tryed to say i wasnt fishing right, but i actually was lol, i think he was just one of those guys who just was up for an arguement or something, anyway it didnt spoil our day as we relaxed without alaskan malamute who for a big dog was scared of the ducks lol...

well i went fishing and got a better result than a month and half ago, me and my girlfriend went and we only caught 4 little roach, and she actually caught the biggest one and yes you guessed correctly it was her 1st ever fish she had every caught lol, anyway it was a good day out the sun must of his 20 degrees, there was a slight breeze but the fish were biting everytime there was a break in between gusts of wind, also i noticed that there had been 2 canadian geese put on the lake which was nice to see, plus a new family of swans and ducks..if any of you are in the north east and want to fish this lake just message me and ill give you directions... but ill stop blabbing on, i only have 2 pics at the minute but my girlfriend will upload hers off her phone when she gets home, and guys thanks for the advice you gave me in a earlier posts

i just got back from 5 hours fishing, only caught 4 roach , they wernt really big but they were fun to catch, my gf also caught her 1st fish which was a roach, i will upload her photo later, i only have 1 pic of the fish as the camera kept playing up for some stupid reason.

i will be using the float method

is it ok to start fishing for perch,bream etc....? because as you tell im new to the whole course fishing ...about 6 weeks ago i went fishing and didnt catch anything , but i know there fish there because ive caught plenty before...and some bloke who was also fishing there came up to me and said we were 6 weeks to early or something .. so is it ok to start fishing now? because im not sure...i know that its a man made lake and is populated by bream,chub,perch, a few carp,gudgeon,tench and a few others... can anyone give me a bit of advice please? thanks

would it help if i made the line longer leading from the float down to the hook? and maybe placing a shot near the hook aswell to help it sink further 2 the bottom?

well ive been goin there nearly every summer for 3 years .....but never this time of year..but wen ive went in the summer for the past 3 years ive been catching 15 - 25 fish everytime ive went...15 at the least.....and ive had a couple of 3lb tench aswell which was pretty good..but there is definently fish there...but some guy said 2 me that we may be about 6 weeks early 2 fish there because of them feeding deeper down

well really im pretty sure its a lake, but people call it the quarry...... ive been fishing there before in the summer and ive caught perch,bream,roach,tench and a couple of carp................ but i have never been there at this time of year....and wen i went yesterday i was using the same bait as usually etc...... i used a float and hook with maggots..... but there is definently fish there becoz during the summer holidays there is fishing club tournaments on
