Many thanks Jace

  14. hi all well i did it .... i went fishing ... 3 times and caught a total of 5 fish ( shimmer bream ) i am over the moon. however i have a couple of questions .... at the moment i have been using a maggot feeder with a quiver tip 2 oz, and i notice i seem to be getting alot of action on the tip when is the best time to strike ... as soon as it moves or wait until it moves hard also i got a bite on soomething big.... but being a newbee i didnt have my reel set right (clutch turned to stop) and it snaped my hook line in the end oopps.... learn by your mistakes i guess... but it was very exciting even though it got away am tempted to use the method feeder soon as well well thankyou ll for all your help so far people ... thanks Jace
  15. Hi All Thanks to all the help lately and i am hoping to go fishing tomorrow just one question .... the local tackle shop sold me pre tied hooks as it would be easy for me (newbie) but what is the best way to attach the hook line (single) to the reel line also how far apart does the maggot feeder need to be away from the hook.... opps sorry that was two questions hahaha many thanks Jace
