  1. Hi....if you can get to the inside, use nuts and bolts,if not then the rivets are good.
  2. nice 1....what i need is a RAM rod tube with the ball joint fitting.do you know of anywhere in uk i can get 1??
  3. hahaha...i nearly choked on my coffee then....have you been and tried it mate??
  4. Hi......that looks like the same mount that i have, but if i lift the holder itself up about half inch,i can then turn it in any direction i want before locking it back into place.
  5. ....To my tandem, and was wondering if,when i switch it on,it will give me a reading straight away,or are there any calibrations i need to make??.It's a cuda 168.Can't wait to try it,i've been fishing blind for the last 3mths.I've also fitted a couple of scotty rod holders and another hatch in the front,so it's quite comfy to fish off now.
  6. try this mate,i know they do crazy creek seats www.h2okayaks.com
  7. One more thing guys please.....is it sikaflex 291 i need???...it says it comes in black or white,i assume by white, they mean clear????
  8. Hi guys....fitting a fishfinder on the weekend, what silicone should i use to fix the transducer and where can i get it from??Thanks in advance.i live in swansea by the way
  9. Launched from bracelet bay with rob in our 2 man kayak into flat calm water and paddled round to langland, trolling rapala's on the way.this produced a pollack of about a pound that i did'nt know i had on until we stopped.Tied off to a bouy by the reef in langland bay and jigged with baited feathers resulting in 2 decent sized trigger fish which i swear towed us,they certainly made us rock .Only our 2nd time out, great fun, nice 3 1/2 hrs of sunshine and calm water,a couple of mental triggers, and sore shoulders from paddling..... Gonna do it again on saturday
  10. Hi guys.........i want to fit a pair of scotty rod holders to my tandem but can't reach into the hatch enough to fix nuts and bolts....how else can i fit these on please.Ta
  11. Hi guys....been thinking about a kayak for a while now,and guess what....today my mate and i bought a tarpon 130t and are going to do a bit of fishing on it.i'm from the swansea area so will be fishing the likes of oxwich, mumbles bay etc.going to go out first with no gear just to get the feel of things, then when we are comfortable,do a spot of fishing.we have bought a couple of lifejackets,2 rod holders, paddles, and have got wetsuits to wear.if you could help me with a couple of things it would be great.... fishfinder.....which 1 and what sort of battery would i need?? how do i fit the rod holders on....is it with self tappers or is there a better way?? vhf....handheld or not?? flushmount rod holders....easy to fit?? tarpon 130t....anyone got 1.....care to let me know what you think Thanks for now guys and hope to see you out there some time
