i will be going to a lake this summer but there are no places where i can buy live baits in the area. can anyone suggest an alternative bait that i can take with me for roach rmh

when fishing with an elasticated, telescopic whip do u need the rig to be nearly the length of the whip or can u colaspe the whip sections to land the fish, esppecially when you hook into a big un. ryan

i am hoping to go to ladygorve lakes at the week end which has a good stock of tench. i am probably going to use my 13 foot float rod with a waggler float. what breaking strain should i use for main line and hook lenght and what shotting patterns should i use. also what are the best baits for tench. i was thinking corn. any other tips appriciated thanks ryan

some fishing line states the strentgh of the line in it's diametre and not in lbs. does anyone know the conversions for this.

Hoping to buy some new pole rigs some new pole rigs soon. they have a 3lb mainline and 2.5lb hooklength. can i use these rigs with the middy hi viz specimen yellow elastic because i've heard you have to match elastic to line strength

just bought a ready made pole rig to try out. it has a 3lb mainline and 2,5lb hooklengh. can i use this rig with the middy hi viz specimen yellow elastic.

What sort of fish is the middy hi viz specimen yellow 6-10 elastic designed to handle. would it be strong enough to handle smallish carp but light enough not to bump off smaller fish like roach and perch. thanks for any advice

what do people think of the Middy ready to fish 5m carp whips. it says it comes with two spare top sections and 1 flick tip. what size elastic does the spare top sections have and is it sutible for fishing for silvers as it comes with a flick tip.
