Hello All, I recently asked a shore angler a couple of questions about bait and when asking about keeping lug to use again he told me to freeze it but to be sure to gut it first (visions of scalpels and tweezers!). When I asked how do you go about gutting it his answer was to just "bang the guts out of them" ? Can anyone shed anymore light on this rather barbaric sounding method for me ? Regards Kipper.

Hi Chris, Am looking for one that will take at least 200 yard/metres of 20lb line. Have you got a model no. Would it be OK for beach casting.Postage isn't gonna kill us is it if your in France, ATB Kipper.

Coarse matchman converting to sea angling. I have a Shimano Hyperloop Barbel Classic rod. This rod is two piece (three with the two top sections) there is a built in quivertip top and an avon top. The rod is in mint condition in its original cloth bag having only been used twice. The rrp for this rod is £65. T/C is 1.5lb. Handy barbel all round river rod. I am looking for a decent beachcaster / large fixed spool, obviously must be around the same value. If you are interested have anything to swap please leave a reply and we will sort something out.
