  1. bit cheaper but still expensive mate a tenner for a kilo on average really. Yeah guy called alex there i talk to him alot he fishes through a patch of weed to a gravel bar hes had 4 to 21 of that and then a 17 off the top! they were on shellfish and plum boilies
  2. i would love to be able to use pellets and catch carp and tenc dont mind that but the bream absolutely muller me if i do. ive thought of mashing up pellets with chilli powder or salmon and tuna oils then with some egg and semolina maybe that will make a nice boilie
  3. yeah only thing is bait for me i think im gonna make some halibut and chilli boilies by mashing up pellets with egg and adding chilli powder and semolina see how they work, theres been 10 or so carp out recently!
  4. well its a small club and the lot of us reckon theres 50 carp and also many small ones but they are tricky to catch i think the biggest is a 28lb mirror and theres a 25lb ghostie
  5. well ill have my new nash bedchair and ill just borrow my mates bivvy, and also my reel broke so its going off for repair im fishign at my syndicate lake once again trying to get a carp out

Hi just wondering if you guys have any tips on cheap bait because i am going to be fishing my local lake a lot more often for carp and theres nothing better then a kilo of shellfish boilies but i cant afford that every time. Chickpeas are an option but they bring way too many tench - yes good at times but i would really love to go for a carp. I was thinking using tinned salmon and bread crumb to make a smelly boilie but let me know what you think cheers!

  14. im back, bit of a quiet night to be honest, the sudden hot weather didnt help me much and i only managed to lose a few fish in the day but in the night i got attacked by bream and my reel broke so i fished with one rod in a bush and managed to pull out a new pb bream of 7lb bream night it was rigg'd
  15. not sure yet mate havent got it as of yet, delivery and that, its the previous version but looks good, im off now up early for a day of tenching heres a pic

  17. yes i knew it was a male in the net because of its massive muscle above the pelvic fin took off like a rocket my rod was shaking
  18. stc ive heard lots of good reviews on this bivvy was gonna get it myself, look on ebay you can get a brand new one for 80-120 quid if u bid right! I got myself a chub cyfish.
  19. no probs guys just got the old version of the chub cyfish plus 1 man almost new, for £70!

  21. Hi i have a mint quiver only used a couple of times selling because i dont use as many rods now. Can hold 5 fully made rods and middle compartment i used to fit my landing net and umbrella, excellent value i will sell for £18 plus whatever postage turns out to be. Thanks
  22. yeah ive heard of it, but also i am looking at that jrc twin skin aswell i think you can get it for 150 or so?
