  1. Archie Braddock is a very keen believer in moon phases, and i believe Bob Roberts is also.

That is for coarse and river fishing,

  2. Reply to an e mail to MP from a chum of mine

Last night, the House of Commons voted overwhelmingly against the Government's Withdrawal Agreement from the European Union. This could have been our last chance to vote for a deal which would see us leave the EU on the 29th March 2019, and this is why I took the decision to vote for it.

Now that MPs have voted against it, we now have two options - either leave with no deal or extend Article 50 which will give us more time to negotiate.

This evening, I will be voting to keep No Deal on the table. We must keep this option and I believe that it would be a mistake to remove this as our last bargaining chip with the EU. Leaving with No Deal does not have a majority in Parliament, therefore, it is highly likely that this vote will fail.

This brings me on to the final vote this week to extend Article 50. I will not support an extension. I am unsure what a further extension of Article 50 would achieve and I feel that this would give the EU the upper hand in the negotiations.

I am also concerned that if we extend Article 50, it may be for an indefinite period of time and we may never leave the EU.

In my view, I believe that we are in a very difficult position where hard-line Remainer MPs are now starting to take control of the process. This opens up a variety of different possibilities which could now occur, including another referendum, a General Election, or worst of all, No Brexit at all.

There is a possibility that we could end up with a Norway-style agreement (which would mean we are subject to EU laws, including free movement). This is not my vision of Brexit, and I am sure that this is not the view of many of my constituents.

The Labour Party and other opposition parties want a second referendum and do not support the referendum result. They want us to remain locked in the EU with no possibility of withdrawal.

This is unacceptable and would be a betrayal to the 17.3 million people who voted for Brexit.

Today we have a free vote, but many amendments have been put, suggesting revoking article 50, and extension. We must wait to see which amendments the Speaker allows to be debated and voted upon. I will provide a further update as things become clearer later today.

We must honour the result and leave.

  3. Jacob Rees Mogg was quoted on LBC radio as saying that the German car industry will go galloping to Angela Merkel to demand that the UK stays in the customs union. It hasn't happened.

Let's just stay in the EU. At least the EU are a civilized bunch.Job done.

IMHO the EU do not want us to leave, we are a leading country in manufacturing, banking, etc oh yes and an easy touch for them

  4. Back on track.

Scroll down for her fathers interview

He has spent more time in Bangladesh recently, oh yes, and I bet the parasite was still getting his benefits.

It was too dangerous to send British officials to rescue Shamima Begum's baby son in Syria, Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt has said.

The child died in a refugee camp after his mother, who joined IS in 2015, was stripped of UK citizenship.

The boy was a UK citizen - but Mr Hunt told the BBC that any rescuers' lives would have been at risk in the camp.

"The mother chose to leave a free country to join a terrorist organisation," he said.

Speaking on The Andrew Marr Show, the foreign secretary confirmed that Jarrah, who was three weeks old, was a British citizen even though his mother was not.

But he said that - although several journalists had reached the camp and spoken to Ms Begum - "we have to think about the safety of the British officials that I would send into that warzone".

"Shamima knew when she made the decision to join Daesh, she was going into a country where there was no embassy, there was no consular assistance, and I'm afraid those decisions, awful though it is, they do have consequences," he said.

He said that the Foreign Office and the Department for International Development were looking at ways to find the British children of other so-called "Islamic State brides" and get them out.

  5. Its been announced that Nissan will stop manufacturing their premium brand Infiniti models at the Sunderland plant later this year.

This decision, which is driven by poor sales, is obviously sad news. Unite is confident however that workers on the Infiniti Q30 production line who want to stay with Nissan can be redeployed within the Sunderland plant onto other models.

In the coming weeks Unite will be working closely with Nissan to protect jobs and ensure that redeployment is carried out in an open and transparent way. We will also be seeking assurances on future employment levels and the production of other models at Sunderland

.– Unite national officer Steve Bush

No doubt the Brexit shambles will be to blame and it will be more lies from Nissan according to some individuals. Who will, without a doubt tell it their way and try and force, yet again, their opinions upon us.:shutup:

  6. Andrew the 29 th March will pass by Teresa May is doomed. Sorry your dream is slipping away through the sheer incompetence of a Tory government who started the whole brexit thing . on the wrong footing .

If there was another referendum brexit would be over finished because it is now not the will of the people .

My dream is slipping away is it !. All the crap about Brexit is nothing to me. I will wait and see what happens when/if it happens.

You can bet yer boots, it wont change my lifestyle, I will still be eating the same food, having a beer or two, having holidays, etc etc. And still reading about the outcome of Brexit.

  7. Labour does not speak for me.

The terrorist group that person left to join are "callous and inhumane". Beheading, rapes, mass murder.

She made her bed, but she decided that she had made a mistake and wanted to return to the UK, expecting to walk straight back in.

If Corbyn had his was, all of the UK Jihadis would be welcomed back with open arms.

Home Secretary Sajid Javid was absolutely right in his actions. :clap3:

  8. OK Paul, you know better. Enjoy the 29th March if it happens. :clap3:

Asked about the rumours of new job losses, a Nissan spokesman said: “We do not comment on rumour or speculation”.

I or even you can start rumours.

Ive heard thru the grapevine that Nissan are expanding their carp plant in Sunderland thus creating a further 1.000 jobs, plus countless other jobs in the supply industry.

    Simple as that

  9. 1000s and 1000s of extra jobs that would have been created at Nisan is now a distant memory thanks to brexit but dont worry its all scaremongering the box they forgot to put on ballet paper was the P45 box which should have been ticked by those working in automobile industry they were systematically lied to by the brexit leave press telling them all will be fine when in REALITY it is not .

    https://www.forbes.com/sites/carltonreid/2019/02/02/brexit-blamed-for-nissan-pulling-manufacture-of-x-trail-from-u-k/

When are you going to accept that NISSAN were never going to produce the XTrail in Sunderland, when are you going to accept that there are no job losses ???. News reports, pure scaremongering.

I have mate who work at Nissan and they have no worries about pay offs.

  10. If she thinks she can now appeal to the hearts of the British public, she can bloody well think again. No sympathy from me. You decided to support Islamic extremists who were killing British soldiers as well as those from our allies, and not just by shooting them. Remember the captured Israeli pilot who was burned to death?

Even if you do return to the UK, you will be vilified for the rest of your life, so stay away and go live with your paedophile 'husband' somewhere out in the open, so we know where to fire our missiles, you traitorous streak of sh!t.

    Well said John.

BUT, you forgot the kids, the mothers, the fathers, the sisters, the brothers, the grandparent who were butchered and blew to pieces by the filthy scumbag who she ran away to join, and no doubt her filthy paedophile husband who had a hand in the butchery. The same people who put severed heads in rubbish bins that did not faze her, I bet the piece of filth never gave them a second glance.
