Hi folks newbie here, I went on a canal stalking wednesday on a canal the back of ToysRus in oldbury just floating bread never fished it before and had a good few hours I landed a small comman I should have landed 4 really using 7lb G Line I was snaped twice by fish I never even seen and one sliped the hook. I have heard of stories carp being caught upto 22lb from this canal by the m5 motorway I did see some whoopers and loads of big bream these bream looked between 2 to 4lb like dustbin lids I aim to give it another bash in a day or so. While I am here does anyone know if a rod called The max winters wand is worth anything? I have never heard of this guy I have been around the fishing game for many yrs since 1970 to date.. Anyway the wand says "The max winters wand Clarke Davies" Is it worth placing on Ebay? Cheers Barrie
