hi has anybody got a good ground bait recipe they make them self without buying stuff from the local tackle shop and that works and would like to tell us about it and what size fish they got using it and where

how long should i tie the hair on the gig as i would like to try to tie my own rigs

hi just got back in to fishing since i was a boy back in the 60s wow what a change in things over the years well had a think about what to use as ground bait so tackel shop closed so i got the things out of the waste bin in the kitchen and blits it in a old blender add sweet corn breadcrome so of i went to try it out and wow it worked got my first pb 22.8 common carp this is what was in it egg shell potato peelings onion skins and a mix of over veg trimmings with the sweetcorn breadcrumbs it was great bait so as any body got a good ground bait recipe

i have just joined this web site and just like to say hi i have just started up fishing have not done any since i was a boy and went with my dad back in the 60s just been looking and things i need and it as change a lot as i remember it a lot of different ways to fish much lighter gear and a lot of bib and bobs you need just to catch a nice bream or carp so i will say sorry now as i maybe asking a few things to help me out
