    I was also under the impression that poles were designed with a range of elastics in mind which I suppose is my question what range would my pole take ? regards Dave

    Well lets say carp in the 5-7ib bracket but a 12lb takes the bait.What size elastic would I be looking to use and is my pole up to the job ? Also sorry but its 12.5m not 13m regards

    I have a Shimano Powerloop Pole 13m which I have had for a good few years but hardly used I wonder if anyone can tell me what size elastics this would take.Many thanks
