i've just come back from brean fishing for the first time on the beach conger thornbacks and bass up to 9lb have been showing i had a 10lb conger and a nice 5ib thornback ray, bait was mackrel peices. this was 3 hours before high tide and had a fish within 30 minutes. ther is a way to drive up brean down i,ve seen them park up by the fort at the end, i have no clue how though. i was told its quite dangerous fishing the rocks off brean down the tide can creap up quick hope this helps
