I intend to do a spot of canal fishing Sunday in the Essex/Hertfordshire/middlesex area. Can anyone come up with the best area's to try please. We have been told about the River Lea(which is a canal)But which parts are the best? Please help we are looking for a good day tomorrow. Cheers Ian

I'm new to fishing after several years out of it and now havent got a clue about the season changes. Can anyone clear a point up, Is it true the river season end on this Friday 15th? If so why does the rod licence not finish until the 31st?But can you still fish the canals after Friday? If not I will be highly disappointed as I was looking forwards to a good weekend. Cheers Ian
