Could do with two tele rods. One for river float fishing on my boat on the broads, fishing for roach and bream.
The other a rod perhaps like an avon style to roam along river stretches but allow easy transport from one venue to another. This is to mainly catch chub either free lining or with screw in tip.
Can anyone help with advice thanks

I must be doing something wrong I have tried slugs with no success.
Its always been on days when im catching chubb on worms or bread but picked up this lovely big slugg on the bank and thought wow thats gonna catch me a whopper but never has.
I will however keep trying

Its about a year now since our season ended abruptly. Get out there and make the most of it.
Some of our local stock markets are still closed yet nothing has been done to curb the illegal imports of meat that caused the problem.
Never mind i am sure there is a spin doctor out there somewhere to put things right.

Thanks Alan but the idea is to collapse the rod whilst tackled up for quick restarts after moving
