hi im new to fishing been to a couple of fisheries with mates over the past couple of months and thinking of going on my own one day this week does anyone know of a decent fishery near to wigan i could fish on a dayticket, ive been to fir tre farm a couple of times also wrightington, charity farm and german lane so was hoping of somewhere different and also some tips on best pegs and bait please,

went to charity farm yesterday, i fished pond 2 the fishing was slow on all ponds, there were some huge carp on the surface but weren't feeding i had 2 common carp biggest around 8lb, skimmer, tench and roach looks like a good place when there feeding
