Great stuff mate, what did you have out? im still to wet a line, everywers frozen around here! Fourseasons isnt that far from me, about an hours drive. Its frozen over at the min and the fishery is closed so iv emailed them asking if they can book me on 14th-16th. See what happens... ill give it a few goes through-out the year though and see how it progresses. Its got to be worth a go through the winter being a new fishery. Ill get some pics up though if i am booked on.

Has anyone done any canal carping on the Leeds - Liverpool Canal?? Just after any tips or productive areas (if you willing to let anyone no) and do you fish near or far bank? Many thanks in advance! Tom

Dugy, you cant base a lake on one sesh...especially a new water! and especially wen you only done 24hrs! Iv gone days without a fish and returned to a lake and caught numorous fish in hours! Its fishing...not catching! You have just wrote the lake off when there is clearly protential there, give them a few years and the fisheys will be a totaly different place! The fishery has already started making amendments to try and stop this line crossing issue. But people to thier own, if you dont like it then fair enough, just leve it at that, let other people make thier own minds up.
