To be honest, I don't know. I am writting from Greece.The lake i am talking about was created 15 yers ago for the needs of an Hydroelectric station by bulding a huge dam close to the springs of a river(1700 meters altitude). I suppose that the population of laketrout is the old population of the river.The only diffrence is that trouts have grown much, much bigger (up to 7Kgr).When I accidently hooked one (I was floatfishing for barbel using lobworm) it looked like rainbow trout.

Does anyone know where I can find information about lake trout (rigs,baits,methods etc)? I want to fish for them using bait. (Spinning,Fly-fishing and trolling are not allowed) Thanks for any help Theodore
