  1. hi guys, ive just been reading an article about the new byelaws that are comming into force from the 1st of jue is year. it says that the following can be removed from uk rivers * Up to 15 small fish (up to 20cm) of barbel, chub, common bream, common carp, crucian carp, dace, perch, pike, roach, rudd, silver bream, smelt or tench * Up to two grayling of 30-38cm * A single pike of up to 65cm no i can understand removing grayling as they are good to eat and so that goes for the pike, but i just cant understand why you would want to remove the other species anyone explain to me why

  4. hi guys, im brand new here and also quite new to fishing. i have a 10 metre pole (not branded) and have managed to snap the top section in 2 places. Im unsure whether the bits i have snapped is the no 1 section or no 1 and 2 section as the piece does pull apart but only to show the elastic. anyway im looking to buy a universal replacement but cant seem to find what i need. The section has a external size of approx 7mm and this piece fits inside the next piece and not over the top like i have seen some poles. i guess u would say this is the male fitting can someone please point me in the right direction to somewhere i can but a replacement for this pole. i dont want to spend too much as the pole was only cheap to begin with but i would like to keep hold of it for noe as it serves its purpose and i would also like to see if i continue to carry on with the sport your help would be much appreciated
