  1. Hi all, I'm brand spanking new to this forum. My name's Tony and I live up in Fife in Scotland, but in early July I'm travelling down to fish a match or two at Moorlands in Hartlebury. While I'm down in that neck of the woods I'm looking to get a couple of days on the Severn for Barbel and Chub (which are both extremely uncommon in Scotland and non-existent on the east coast.) Been dying to catch a barbel for years, but I've never had the opportunity to get down and give it a go. Was thinking about Hampton Loade because I know there are a couple of decent day ticket stretches. Will probably drive down on Monday 5th July, get myself sorted, fish a late afternoon/ early evening, and then fish in earnest on the Tuesday and Wednesday before meeting the guys for the matches on the Thursday and Friday. Does anybody have any tips on places to stay (I'm undecided about campsite/ B&B etc), likely stretches of river and tactics? I've obviously done various bits of research and will come equipped to fish a few different methods. I think I'm right in saying that the Unicorn Inn in Hampton Loade has a campsite. Does anybody know what the facilities/ prices (typical Scot) are like? Am I right in saying that I an buy day tickets at tackle shops in Bridgnorth? Oh, and before I'm reminded- my rod licence is on it's way to me right now!... Cheers folks, Toj
