Thank's to all that have replied,if anyone out there wan'ts to fish the old lake or the new I've got photos of the old and new lake bottoms,especially the old lake as last November I was privelaged to walk on the lake bed due to the lake being drained and the fish were all moved to a holding pool as the lake was being worked on and all the Roach removed. I was most amazed to find features that I did not know about and prided myself on my knowlage of the lake bottom,I think not!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously though I have been known to catch at least 10 to 15 fish from the lake on a weekend,so as I said If you need the know how ggive me a bell so to speack,but don't expect me to know what the $%%$£%^ to do on the new one as it's all new to me

Hi beltdrive I've used Nash Fang's in various sizes and ESP hooks with great success out in France and never had a problem,My preferred way of mounting tigers is a tiger,cork ball,tiger on a hair coming direcly from the shanfk of the hook. Best of luck matey.

Now before anybody starts to syspect that I work for the venue that I am about to mention I don't as I work in a body shop repairing cars. A new lake has just been opened up here in sunny Anglesey stuffed full of 20+ lb fish.There are 30 carp in the new lake in question all in 2 acres of water,I beleve the biggest at the moment is 23lb but bigger fish are to be clearly swimming in the lake,I know as I've seen the little blighters!the lake in question is LLyn y Gors,if anybody wants info give me a email and I'll fill you in as I've just started fishing it
