Hi
I've recently moved to Worksop and I'm in the throes of looking at the River Idle and other smaller rivers above Retford. The other day I visited the Idle at Eaton and tried to find out who has the fishing rights there. I spoke to a family at a house nearby and they said to just go ahead and fish. However I need to know before I wet a line if I am trespassing or not. There are no signs indicating private land or any indication of a club who's members may be fishing the water.
Has anyone fished this water before and can give me advice?
