  1. Thanks for the replys, and the infomation, I will be using the boat for only a few creels, and have checked with southern sea fisheries, which have assured me if I am not selling my catch and using 6-10 creels, all would be okay. Would the 'bigfoot' outboard on here make it a tad more econimical? I have always been told cathedral hulls or planning hulls need monster outboards, but is this the case when the cathedral hull will only be going cruising at 7 knot or so with the 25hp? obviously not planning either.. Thanks J
  2. Hi there, I was looking at this boat as follows: http://www.findafishingboat.com/detail.php?aid=28823 It has a dory or cathedral hull with 25hp on the back. the owner told me it was used for potting etc. also he told me that it was very econimical, I guess at slow speed... does this sound right? I would like to use the boat for the same reason, potting. they told me normal working speed 7.5 knots. any opinions? Thanks
  3. Hi there, I am just interested, did you go ahead with the purchase with Jrsmarine? Thanks John
  4. Hi there, I have recently read the review of the wilson flyer on Anglersnet and it says that it is good at displacement speeds.. Is this right? I do a few pots around my local area with a radius of about 4-5mile... I would be using it as a potting boat and will not be going anywhere over 8-10 knots, only around displacement speeds. The large deck space draws me to the wilson flyer style boat. Thanks
