    I will be heading off to Filey Brigg again early next week (probably Tues) armed with a few spinners to try for the elusive mackerel and any other species. I will post a report on how I get on for anyone who also fishes the Brigg. Can't wait to get down to Weymouth again in Sept Chesil Beach is reported to be alive with the little buggers, hoping to catch a few Bass too.

    Tried for mackerel with feathers round the back of the brigg. Lobbed a one hook rig 70 yds out, baited with mackerel/ squid. Don't know if this is the tactic to use on this venue that's why I asked for any info.

    As a regular Bridlington wall angler I was wondering if anyone on here fishes Filey Brigg on a regular basis. Would it be worthwhile trying for any mackerel or any other species this summer. Any info appreciated.
