I had bought the set when i starter out as a beginner! the actually rod pod is unstable and dosnt last very long and i still us the bite alarms and the rods they were the best parts of the combo! the rods are designed for mid range catsing and the alarms have adjustable tone and volume, they do the job for me

the best place to go for good cheap gear is www.badgerclassics.co.uk it has quite alot of gear it may not be the best on the market but its gear does the job. warning dont buy the bait its not as good as the products
