Im sure someone on here said a while back that they were going to review this bracket.
just wondered where it went
getting very fed up of damn timers

im also a bit of a lurker, but that is mainly because im shy and i dont want to be seen as an idiot (stupid i know but hey...).
i have opened my mouth before engaging my brain on here in the past and it got me a right ear bashing from a certain person, one of the reasons i lurk now.
I wish i had nathans bottle for posting and i can't really see what the problem is with a angler wanting to increase his knowledge by asking experienced others then sharing the knowledge on a completly different site, which many others will see.
The reason i joined this site was to learn, and i have, i recken nathan is the same.
As long as he asks permission which i understand he does, whats the problem
It will be interesting to see what nathan has to say about this thread, i for one will back him all the way.

Peter
The 16lber i caught at the weekend looked to me like it had spawn inside.
Out of curiousity have you ever seen pike eggs? Do you know if it is possible to tell pike spawn from other fish spawn and where would you be likely to see it, i have never seen eggs before which is actually quite weird because i spend a hell of a lot of time on the river, I will have to keep my eyes peeled for the next few months.

Quiet day was it peter?

Bulster died whilst casting out a deadbait, the trebles snagged in the back of his jacket launching him in to the river where he was imediatley swallowed whole by a 96lb pike.
The way he wanted to go
Probably

I have decided not to hide behind a screen name any more.
Hi everyone my name is Lee Bulbeck
R.I.P Bulster

Darrell, i have had pike in every concieveable weather condition from the height of summer (dont keep them out too long) to the depths of winter, but my best results have come from overcast breezy days that make the water ripple a little with temperatures around 3-10 degrees C.
Heavy rain is in my opinion a complete waste of time, don't know why but i never catch in downpours.
badexcuseforanangler, (blimey, long name) sometimes it is great fun to pull out jacks all day, especially on a light lure rod.
Well done

Thanks for telling us and well done. However are you going to tell us where you caught them, or at least which county, lol! The method used would be interesting to know too.
If i was to tell people where it was the swim would probably be occupied next week all i will say is i live on the broads. As for the method, well a cobination of poped up and bottom fished deads with the 16lb 4oz and the 3lber falling to trout, the 17lbers on mackerel and the rest including the missed and lost fish on sprats.

Today was the best days pike fishing i have had for literally 8 months , 17lb 8oz...17lb....16lb 4oz...10lb....6lb...3lb...three missed runs and 2 lost fish one at the net that looked like it was going 20lb  that would have been my PB.

I think he fishes around here quite a bit, i met him about 8 or 9 years ago down the beauchamp arms on the yare, my dad was the chef and i used to fish there a lot.
also red a few articles in angling times over the years where he has been fishing in norfolk.
And well done
-
Nothing in norfolk YET...

Two parrots are sitting on a perch, one turns to the other and says "can you smell fish"

On reading the replys to the original question i have changed my mind.
i agree with Nugg, Brian and others.
I can't remember the last time i went to the session carp forum, im not really interested in carp (although in my avatar im holding a 23lb carp.....Fluke ) and i have probably missed out on some good topics, i can imagine that some posters would do the same to a predator forum.

I should have made my post a bit clearer, when i said "If anyone owns or has seen one i would appreciate your views on it" i actually meant the quality of the dragon one , i get a bit confused sometimes, it sounds right in my head then comes out weird on the screen, probably why i don't post that often
I shall get the dragon one if no one comes up with a better option.
Cheers

For a while now my back has been hurting me alot! i wont go into detail because its quite depressing as im only 24 and been advised to stop lifting anything.
What im after is a trolley that will take a medium sized holdall and a chair, the rod bag i can just manage on my shoulders, great if i can find one that will take it all but i know that is a bit optimistic (sp).
It has to be able to fold up small as i only have a small car and i can't get a barrow coz it still involves lifting.
This it the type of thing im after

If anyone owns or has seen one i would appreciate your views on it.
All help greatly recieved.
