  1. hi there, on part of my syndicate there is a strech of cannel i have fished it with bread flake on a size 8 with just enough weight to hold bottom with a small shot near the hook to sink the bread and have had some cracking chub to 6lb. i have always kept on the move to try and locate the fish rather than a sit and wait aproach wich seems to work really well for me. as for any fishing early morning is prime time dawn and dusk both the best times for me hope this helps and good luck.
  2. any one out there been river carping on the tames this season? just wondering how it was going, going on my first 48hr session of the season this weekend cheers
  3. hi all, i have been fishing for over 15 years now and have never caught a barbel so the time has come i must have a crack and them, i have recently became a member of a syndicate river thames island wich has great reports of many barbel being caught. i am planning a 48hr session this weekend to land a barbel however i have no clue as to the best way to go about this, would i be better of feeder fishing or bolt riging on the bleepers for a start? any help would be much apreciated thanks lee
  4. hi all, i am doing a session on my local syndicate strech of the thames, i havnt been in about a month now and was speaking to some locals who say pellet is working wonders with big bream and chub, does any one else have any experience with this? if so what would be the best method to be used at the end of a small wier pool? i was possibly think a simple patanosta feeder rig double 8mm pelet hair riged with some soggy micro pellets in the cage feeder? is this the wroung way? thanks
