  1. I envy you guys fishing west and north of the south east as here it has become a complete waist of time for the true coarse angler. Even the day ticket fisheries are packed out at weekends especially and i cant stand them anyway.

And i am sure you all know its carp all the way and a 15lb bream is a nuisance to many down here .

I used to fish the mole as a kid and now it is all owned by match fisherman and the Medway is not that much better . There are a few syndicates or clubs that have the use of coarse fishing but they are now becoming as packed as many day ticket venues and i really struggle to find just basic small fishing enjoyment such as roach and rudd and skimmers in peaceful surroundings

Rant over from a grumpy angler who blanked yesterday on a day ticket on a monday morning still recovering from his float being bombarded by method feeders the day before :bones:

  2. Are you kidding me

NO as it is a distinct possibility!

    But then i wonder ?

I would love to see him as the PM under pressure in PM question time now that is a temper i have to see

    What was it?

    Feck off you labour ****!

  3. i care about injustice and the little guy being picked on by the big guy

i dont know anyone in the firing line so no-one could care unless they do ,its the principle thats wrong

    Blimey easy Chesters!!

Explain little guy picked on by the big guy as that sums up this govt in a nutshell!

  4. Brainwash you

You are very easily brainwashed and i am certain they do not think the public is that thick as it is in the main to cut the admin costs down which therefor can free up more money for the charity

  5. Did he see that the look of fat arrogant foreigners on his beach who maybe looked down on him as just the scum of the world and therefor these forigners need to be gone of this world to save others of misery almost like a 'Dexter' of this world or did he see christians and they fell under the death wish of the I S flag.?. I S will always take credit of the latter but was that really the case..

So is the likes of a PM such as Blair sending troops into Iraq any different?. He is a practising christian and so thou shall not kill but thought these people as murderers as in above they also needed ridding of this world and so figure that one out as it does not say in the bible that you are excluded from your beliefs if you are the prime minister

The persons or person who murders 30 people on the beach is small fry compared to a man who kills thousands by the click of his fingers it just looks worse.

On a less sombre note if these type of attacks come more popular the english seaside holiday may start becoming more popular but the govt may have put pay to that as many not so disirables are now housed in top seaside resorts. Poor old johns cafe on the seafront in summer as if the holiday companies dont get him the govt will

  6.

Dave you are posting on a forum where most of the participants just don't give a da,n about other people. Your p!ssing against the wind mate.

Yes i know mate and always have had in here but some are worth trying to educate although many are a lost cause.

And i put this to those that get **** off so much they feel they should mention it that they feel they are hounded by charities and that is......... 'really'?:  .

  7. You can work child poverty however you like but the fact is there are more kids in poverty now because if you cut benefits many will fall into that catagory and this lot have been cutting benefits for 5 years and it will continue.

This govt stated that by 2020 child poverty will be wiped out and that was a legal promise so doing all these cuts is not aiming towards it is it and thats because in 2015 or even when it was said they already knew that it was just not possible and i hope in 2019 this govt will be legally held to their promise and voted out of power

The saddest fact of all is a friend of my wife works for childline and the amount of sexual and physical abuse to children in two years has doubled and that is partly to do with a increase in poverty and from someone who is on the frontline that is a real fact not crap you get fed by the govt.

Our nation as a whole is deviding more so than in any other time since the victorian era to a gulf between rich and poor and yes the economy might get better like it did in the industrial revolution but who were the real people driving the economy it was the working class working 18 hours a day for peanuts and its heading that way again for sure.

I care for this country as i have fought for it and seen some die for it including relatives in past wars and you can argue on whether immigration is just how the world is evolving but child poverty in this country should be a thing of the past and it is not acceptable ( i think Cameron said something similar :bones: )

  8. I find it hard to take that in a 1st world country as rich as we are childrens poverty is over 2 million and soon will get worse , ten times more food banks since Cameron took over and will get worse. This week the disabled in their wheelchairs protesting of cuts were in the parliament building. I have never under any government seen so much cruelty where these people have to march on parliament.

The figures were put to Cameron and he totally dismissed it with his usual arrogance and non feeling. Who would believe he has a handicapped kid himself?

    .

Whether rich or poor we should be ashamed of such actions to hit the needy no matter who you support on both sides of the house.

  9. If the Serb Princip or the Ferdinand duke had taken different routes and never confronted would WW1 have happened as that chance meeting had catastrophic consequences, supposing a simple humble driver had taken a different route?

If the Prussians had not arrived at Waterloo would the great British empire have still come about as it was nip and tuck before they got there or was it? That had huge repercussions of how Europe shaped up for the next 100 years.

    The list is endless

One thing is for sure and i hope they mention it and that is thousands of English sailors who fought the Armada starved at sea after the battle as Elizabeth forbid them to land as she could or would not pay them and that was not very nice.

  10. Can you imagine if that had happened to Raikkonen....LOL :bigemo_harabe_net-165::bangin: :bangin:

John ( gozzer) i must disagree The last thing they want is it to be close between them towards the end as Vettel is spoiling the show this year so it suits Mercedes that one of them is way out of sight so they will not tussle and maybe let Ferrari in. It only takes a crash between them to let Ferrari in. thats why the whole thing was a cock up yesterday for driver and team..!

  11. I see no conspiracy as the last thing they wanted was Vettel second.

My query was not that they got the time mixed up by why pit him anyway?. The time to me is irrelevent or second base , the man had about 6 laps left still on good tyres and its the hardest track to pass in the calender so why?

Even if ferrari had had come in it would have got him behind Rosberg and with 6 laps left would he have passed him i have grave doubts.

It is a very baffling command to pit with 6 laps left

Hamilton got cocked up by Rosberg last year and Mercedes this year . hamilton took it well but just a little to well for my liking although i loved the 3rd place marker being knocked over that made me chuckle

  12. So the ex england player hits a triple century for surrey and does not get picked for the side after doing everything asked of him

A feud between two players stops the fans from watching the best batsman England may have ever seen....

Get a life Strauss and get your priorities right because we pay your wages!

  13. Well so Rosberg fights back and thank god for that as i want a fight like last year. The worst and most boring race on the calander up next that is Monaco. Monza and the german GP might not be on the calender why do they not scrap monaco?

Yes, i know its more about the money it brings in which makes it a farce as a race....

The pole sitter wins it and if clean off the start switch off and watch something else

  14. this big bugger came out of one of our lakes the other day:

I know a lot of fishermen really hate catching an eel; but even so..this is one hell of a catch!

    id be chuffed with it!

Yes. This is proper specialist fishing...anyone can catch the stillwater cod fish!

Oh Jeez for your own clubs sake it might be best to delete the location and private message members if you wish. This eel on here will be a magnet for many who will not be in your club...

  15. Goodbye to the SNP in the next election as Nicola queen of Scots will not get her soldiers what they have voted her in for and so she will become a victim of her own success unless somehow she does it but can’t see how.

The Tories were the better of two evils as Labour and SNP would have done a deal and another referendum on Scottish independence would have happened and many English voters were not happy with that I included and as for scrapping trident the labour would have restricted it to one sailing boat in the channel.

My concerns are that this Tory party is right wing and those right wing members on the back benches will run riot with Cameron and will create chaos for all of us...

  16. Some great reports there and it seems earlier fish ins seem to have maybe done the trick. I was always after big Eels in the coarse lake as a more of a challenge but i rarely got anything over 4lb and only half a dozen from the 3-4 lb mark. Such a shame i was really dissapointed with that so if anyone caught a 5Lb + i would love to see it :)

  17. Anglers who can chuck a helli rig 100 yards mean nothing to me and anglers who cant do it but are in ore of an angler doing it knows nothing at all about fishing although i bet they think they do as its all for show as a good angler can find all he needs within 60 yards max by just exploring the complete topography. I have had my best fish really close to the bank especially at night and especially if its a commercial fishery.

Its not rocket science ( mind you that science is quite easy) to know that fish will travel from swim to swim after all anglers have packed up and will come in anyway even on the hardest waters.

As for the drone i think it may have a future in recon for perhaps fishery owners and not for fisherman.

  18. At present i am a dog’s body for a mate who uses drones on film sets using obviously gimbals and now we are making our own. They are top quality movies (he did a few clips in Sky fall the bond movie).

This got me thinking about using them for fishing but for reconnaissance and i am sure is next on the session carpers list. Just think about off loading boilies right in the spot and even taking your end tackle right off your spool to the spot. I am thinking of using one for tracking down lost birds of prey but fishing!!!!

Surely carpers must have caught up with this and so i looked on u tube and here was a guy catching a fish....LOL

Dale...This is right up your street ;)

  19. Well i said i would follow up and what promised to be attractive turned out to be ugly as apart from some very small perch not a thing and i tried everything over 3 trips even night fishing with the company of a large fox wondering what i was doing on his patch. So not all is as good as it first looks something i have found out a lot especially over the last 5 years for some reason?
