  1. that's true, never fished the Thames so will be a new thing for me.
  2. River roach or perch?, that's a hard one to choose. Cheers Steve, iv heard reading angling have some good stretches for perch, may give them a look at.
  3. Hi Steve, hope all is well, the Thames is somewhere I would love to catch a perch from but cannot find somewhere to fish as I live in ashford kent, do you know of any clubs, free, or day ticket stretches with a good head of them in?
  4. Its that time again, old stripes going to get some attention again. Everyone is different with how they catch them, I prefer to float fish in the margins with worms on 5Ib straight through to a size 8, fishing on canals and lakes. What are your tactics? and lets see some pics of colourful looking perch, here's mine at 3Ib 1oz.

Im looking to go fishing at Moat Park in Maidstone kent, a few people have said it has a close season due to the river running in and out of it, i have checked Maidstone victory's website and there is nothing about it on there. I dont want to turn up and there be one so if anyone knows the right answer then id appreciate it. Many Thanks
  6. With the temps down in the minuses and the lake not producing a bite for over a week it wasnt going to be easy but a little watercraft can go a long way. Enjoy
  7. Im ordering a new mic, the one i have is really bad lol, il be talking a bit more on the vids as well as a bit of narration, give's the best of both worlds then, cheers lads
  8. lol, will do a bit more pike fishing this coming winter, have been challenged to catch some species of different weight so will make for some interesting viewing.
  9. it can be very good but in cold weather its no so great, first time i fish the canal, was only fishing for 4 hours and my editor was playing around, spent 3 days trying to edit this one was a right pain, but i agree its not as good

  19. Hi Phone, the reel was a small match reel and the rod was 10ft, i get were your coming from though, over gunning it is funny sometimes but can also be harmful to the fish.
