  1. Hi Steve, hope all is well, the Thames is somewhere I would love to catch a perch from but cannot find somewhere to fish as I live in ashford kent, do you know of any clubs, free, or day ticket stretches with a good head of them in?

  2. Its that time again, old stripes going to get some attention again. Everyone is different with how they catch them, I prefer to float fish in the margins with worms on 5Ib straight through to a size 8, fishing on canals and lakes. What are your tactics? and lets see some pics of colourful looking perch, here's mine at 3Ib 1oz.

  3. Im looking to go fishing at Moat Park in Maidstone kent, a few people have said it has a close season due to the river running in and out of it, i have checked Maidstone victory's website and there is nothing about it on there. I dont want to turn up and there be one so if anyone knows the right answer then id appreciate it.

    Many Thanks

  4. it can be very good but in cold weather its no so great, first time i fish the canal, was only fishing for 4 hours and my editor was playing around, spent 3 days trying to edit this one was a right pain, but i agree its not as good

  5. If this is in the wrong place then please remove

  6. Thanks for the kind words chaps, il admit in the past iv been the typical video blogger but so many are doing it now and its always about the angler never the fishing, i hope this is something different, many more to come

  7. Scott,

I liked it OK. I'm in the US so it wasn't really for me.

I'm not being critical. I just can't help but smile when I see Brits fishing like they were toward the end of the piece. A 6000 size reel full up with line and a 13ft fishing rod fishing(?) - OK fishing on a 3 meter wide river. What do you do with that set-up - spear fish?

    Phone

Hi Phone, the reel was a small match reel and the rod was 10ft, i get were your coming from though, over gunning it is funny sometimes but can also be harmful to the fish.
