Hi all, I'm spending a few days down at a friends house on the south coast soon, in Rustington; near Worthing. We, or rather He figured a days fishing in the sea of a Pier would be a great idea! I've course fished for years but mostly fish for big carp these days. Will 3.5 tc rods allied to Penn Affinity 8000's be beefy enough to cope with the sea? And I've absolutely no idea of what sort of rigs I should be using.. he seems to want to go for Mackeral tho.. Any help / tips with basic rigs would be much appreciated! oh.. also will 15lb line be adequate? Please say it will do in a pinch! ;p many thanks in advance! Gill
