  2. Hello all, any help would be fantastic: does anyone use the NASH Chain Reaction baits instead of PVA, if u use it what so you think of it? does anyone use NASH Armour Braid Link for bottom baits hook lengths. what's best hook length for combi rigs, stiff hinge rigs, pop ups basically, does anyone rate the Fox Camotex Stiff or soft for these rigs. These rigs being fished on gravel or silt. many thanks for the help!

  5. Now the nights are setting in earlier, the mornings I would say are colder, and the water temperature is dropping! Will you continue on ur normal Venues/day tickets club waters after the carp or will you move to a different species like predator's? If staying on the local waters after the carp what tactics will you change and what will give you the edge over the carp in the colder months? I'm pretty new to carping and this will be my first winter after carp, and also the predators, but this thread is dedicated to the carp side of life! many thanks, and I hope your all having a great weekend!
  6. In all honesty when and if I do catch a fairly decent fish from a near venue/stretch of river I will share it with you guys but keep it to myself, I will tell others I can trust too! And if pictures are taken I will have them done so others can't make out the location! And now I understand why, as reading on a few sites..... 27LB pike was caught from a certain venue, bloke told few guys and sent pics to magazines with info on the area he was fishing, 3 weeks later said pike was found dead with its mouth all tore up due to stupid rigs!!!!!! NOW I KNOW WHAT YOU ARE ALL ON ABOUT!!!!! Cheers for educating me!!!
  7. i just think its a shame about that people treat these preds the way they do! I'm on the Farnham Angling Pike Teach In today, something you gotta do before you fish for pike on the Farnham waters
  8. Gotta admit the korum chair looks awesome! Great from those days just sat at the back
  9. Only thing I'm worried about is fishing somewhere I shouldn't! But I 100% understand where everyone is coming from now. But like I said before I honestly didn't know that some anglers where like this at all!!!
  10. To be honest,I didn't know fishing was that bad!
  11. That's is very sad that's the way fishing goes! I didn't know that otherwise I wouldn't people on her asking where to fish!
  12. If people won't talk etc then how does anyone ever know where to fish certain areas. I was told these places are day tickets. Well I know Bury Hill is. I was once told a bloke sent a picture into anglers mail or anglers time cos he caught a huge Barbel from a certain stretch of river, then they binned him from the club for sending the pic in!
  13. What feeder chair would you recommend, the matrix one looks good!
  14. It was along the lines of areas to fish and baits etc lol!
  15. Hello all! wondering if many guys on here are members with Farnham Angling Society? If so many of you fish Bagshot Lea Big Pond?

  20. hi mate, I work not to far from Langley, I work on the Farnham road in the SEN school. Mate if your up for meeting for a fishing day just let me know and we can arrange something soon! I have always loved photography but never took the step into! cheers fo everyone else for the info too! The Thames is huge so trying to decide where to start is a nightmare!
  21. in all honesty mate I don't mind driving at all to you and meet you where ever you go! I live near Ash, near Aldershot, hut like I say driving is not a problem at all! Many thanks for the reply!
  22. Morning all, I know when asking for info on where to fish on certain areas of rivers and lakes etc is often kept quiet. I know this isn't just for the sake of a few people catch the fish but to stop people fishing these areas who want to capture and eat, sell etc etc! as I have never fished the River Thames before I was wondering if anyone would mind me joining them on a session in the future on the Thames? would anyone mind me joining them chasing pike on the Thames? many thanks for your time,
  23. Hello all, just wanted to ask a bit of advice, I have choses the Maver Abyss X Feeder rod 10ft for bit of short feeder work but I'm struggling to find a reel for it. When I mean struggle I mean keep the price a little low, gone my match days of the Shimano Arenos or Diawa £80-£140 I would of brought within a heartbeat for my £140 match feeder/bomb rods. I feel I don't need to spend that anymore with the fishing I do now! but anyway...... I would like to spend about £40-£45 and was thinking of the following reel for my feeder work: http://www.chapmansangling.co.uk/shakespeare-agility-fd-reels~11440.html what do you think, or do you have one already... Or would you recommend anything else within the £40-£45. cheers all, hope you have a great weekend!
