Thank you, Chavender, very comprehensive advice. I think I will probably do the Ebay thing, as I am not planning to take up fishing anytime soon it seems to be the simplest solution!

Hello, I hope this is the right place to post but I have come across an old fishing reel amongst my late father's possessions and I think,having done some googling, that it may be a Coxon Ariel.Unfortunately It is a bit damaged but I would really appreciate some advice as to what to do with it.
