  3. dont you mean page 48 cause thats were you are in mine
  4. Fancy owning up to needing to read that mag let alone have your picture on Page 64. Scan the image then we can all see the Famous Hereford_angler. so what if the guy reads IYCF. i also read it and am proud to admit to it. the bloke never said that he needed to read it, he just does. reading is how you learn stuff, like manners for instance dragonbat ! i too hope to get my pic in that mag next month and i will also want the angling world /forum to know. to the Hereford_angler. well done mate
  5. if im not too careful when using the gusset, maybe i will be using a pubic hair rig
  6. newt. they dont ship to where he lives that site is american i believe and does not ship to scotland
  7. i have recently started going to commercial fisheries and wondered why some dont allow keepnets. i dont always use a keeepnet but wondered why they are banned in places. do they actually cause serious harm to fish, if so, how ? some fisheries allow them in matches, but not for pleasure anglers. i know its needed in a match for obvious reasons but just becaese i dont take part doesnt mean i dont want to see the productivety of my day. there seems to be a lot of different types of keepnet (carp friendly) etc but most carp are reasonably large so what is the largest fish (of any kind) to keep in these nets. one a last thing, is it practical to keep all fish i catch in a session in the same net, i dont want perch to attack other fish in the net and so on i would like to here your opinions on the use of keepnets for angling in general
  8. try hair rigging it, that way you wont have to soak it before use
  9. any ideas on to cast the damn stuff on a hair rig. it stays on with a gentle lob, but i would like to get it out further
  10. i am going to buy some weighing scales,(dial type) but am on a very tight budget ! i cant afford (reuben heaton) or whatever they are called, and am more looking at ones by keenets. has anyone got scales by this company or another cheap good set to recommend. they must go up in 1oz increments as that is about the fish sive i catch and preferably go to 40lb's. £20 is about the most i have to spend [ 22.
