I will be pleasure fishing but like the opportunity to go for large carp, a well-stocked pit/lake would be nice. Over the past couple of months ive been going to Brookside fisheries, Harthill fisheries and Cudmore.

A friend and myself were down there last Saturday, we didn’t get much just small stuff. I was told the lake had been closed for some time, they are also using airaters in the water, which doesn’t look promising! The snake is fishing well; I spoke to a guy who was catching all day on floating bread. Depending on where you live I would surgest a trip to Harthill fisheries, which is fishing its socks off.

There is one thing she has missed out! Hunting is getting banned due to the treatment of the animals that are involved {FOX}.... I certainly hope fishermen over the UK are not purposely killing or hurting the fish they catch as in hunting! As I see it fisherman do not want to hurt the fish. In fact we go to great lengths to ensure that they get hurt as little as possible i.e. using non-barbed hooks and investing our money in unhooking mats, landing nets and other devices, not just to aid us in our quest but to make sure we can get the fish back in the water as quickly as possible and with the least amount of stress for the fish. Surely this shows we have no intention of hurting the fish we so love to catch! I hope the short minded views of some people do not cloud the opinions of the general public. I wonder if she has ever gone fishing before?

Well no more than an hours drive, I have fished Burton mere its a good lake but had my pole broke by some kid on his bike so im a it reluctant to go again. I'm just gonna have to move house I think.

HI I live in Chester, I have been fishing various lakes in Cheshire with good results the only thing is, and I am getting tired of fishing the same lakes. Do you guys know any descent lakes that also allow night fishing? I’m not far from M53 Thanks Jeff.C

Hi, I am looking at getting a new feeder/ledger rod. I have been searching the Internet but carn't find any that are suitable. Any suggestions on which to go for? Or any website’s that I might find interesting?
