  1. Thanks everyone. I may well try the old backleads next time I go fishing - which will be sunday hopefully! I did read somewhere that do affect bite indication? What do you all reckon? Cheers Big Al
  2. Hi everyone - got a really stupid question for one or all of you to answer! I've been carp fishing for a while but never used Back Leads - so my question is how do you use them? Do you cast out them out already attached just after the rig or place them on the line after the cast has been made? Cheers for any advice! Tight Lines and enjoy the weather!
  3. Hi everyone Have any of you got any tips on making decent paste from large Halibut Pellets? I guess soaking them in boiling water (Scorching - I know) and eventually add some eggs to bind the whole lot together. Also whats the ideal amount of eggs ratio to pellets is best? and of course have any of you found a winning combination of addictives to add to the paste? Cheers if you can help! -------------------- Big Al

  6. I saw some Berkely Big Game 12Ib Line going cheap on Ebay - I may well have a go bidding on it - I guess it will do for Carp fishing? Thanks for the advice peeps - any more would be cool Tight Lines Al
  7. Hi I'm a virtual virgin at the Carp Game. What I need to know is what would be the best line for my (newish bought of Ebay) Shimano 10000XTE's? I'm Using these with Fox Rangemasters which have a TC of 1.75Ib Cheers for any advice you can give. P.S. I do sometimes fish the method so I guess a line strength of 12Ib would be best? Maybe more but I would love to know what everyone out there think's is the best make of line. Regards Alan
