Just to let you all no, I'm on a roll at the moment. On Saturday I night fished I had a 15lb Common, 18lb Common, 21.5lb Common and a 24.5lb Common. I thought that would be my luck for a long time but tonight a did a short session and had a 18lb Common again and lost a carp as well. I also had a tench which almost black in colour. I really hope this bit of luck continues. Tight Lines Quest

I have got some old boliies about 2 years old, The air has got to them but they are not rock hard just hard. Will these still catch carp or will the hardness turn the carp away? You can still smell them, but maybe there not as strong as they use to be. Of would i have to dip them? Thanks Quest.

Ok, I think its about time, I gave pop ups ago. And give the bottom baits a little rest. So i brought my self a tub. So how do you use them? Do you just put a shot near the hook to stop it from popping up to the top. Thanks for your help. Oh, I fish one of my local lakes today and had a nice 16lb mirror carp. (on a bottom bait of course). Its not my biggest carp to date. But a 16lber is all ways welcome in my books. Thanks Quest.

When making your own hair rigs, how important is the use of srink tube, As lately I have not been useing it and still catching carp. My rigs are staying togther still, So now, I'm unsure what it is really used for? Thanks Quest.

I had 4 carp out over the weekend mate.

Now mate, one of the waters I have been fishing over the past month has provided me with some nice carp up to 16lb. The week before I had 5 in a day. So gets your rods out mate.

Well just to let you know, I checked it out on Sunday. Had x4 carp just under 9lb lost one. Cracking bit of sport. Will fish it again. Quest.

This may sound a silly question but, Is there a special technique in threading your main line through the plastic tubing. As in the past when I have tried It seems to get about a foot through then becomes very difiuclt to push any more through? Thanks Quest

I am fishing a lake this weekend were you can not use braid, So I am taking it that you can't use leadcore which has a braid cover. What can I replace this with? I have had some of that plastic tubing before but that is not heavy and seems to not sit right. Any help/advance would be greatful. Thanks Quest.
