I've just pegged out our canal at Loughborough ready for the national this year and all pegs have been done at 18 yards apart.

Nice picture Bradford Angler,I have heard that the ide are infact a roach/chub hybrid is this true.There is a lake at the back of my house and it's stocked with hundreds of them,the biggest I've had is 2 1b 14oz.

Hi Billy Bob,I know of a club that rents a 25 peg Lake near me and it was only dug out a year ago stocked last April and started match fishing it in August.

Hi Bradford Angler,It seems to me that there is a lack of bailiffs checking our rod licenses these days.We've just had our winter league and the bailiff was out every match checking licenses just because there was 120 anglers on the bank. Now I bet we wont see him for another year.

I get all my bait from a tackle shop in Loughborough and they are £2.20 a pint, casters are £2.60 and you don't get any rubbish in with them.
