  1. Nathan. Try http://www.ccmoore.com they seem to be very competetive for most things and I see they are giving away 500ml CSL free with all orders in February-sounds good.
  2. Peter, Thanks for the welcome. I can be sure of the information I gave you as I have had years experience of the two industries, the angling industry and the animal feed industry. It is not above the realms of possibility that CSL Pellets could be used for feeding to sheep-apart from the price, but Ewe nuts shouldn't be used for fish. There are a couple ways to tell if CSL Pellets are the same or a similar pellet to Ewe Nuts or any other type of produced animal feed. Firstly having some tested in a food laboratory, which to 99.9% of anglers is not viable, and the other method is to look at the exterior of the pellet to see if it has a shiny coat. If it has then you can virtually guarantee that it has been through a milling process where fat, molasses, additives and supplements have been added, along with the damaging low quality 'fillers' All this said the great thing about the hobby/pastime/obsession we have is that we can make our own decisions based on our own experiences. What do you guys think about 'flouro' baits, do they really work or are they just a gimmick?
  3. Krakemarsh. I can see where you're coming from! Since you posted your comments I've seen a site which is very competetive for nearly every bait item you can think of. Its at http://www.ccmoore.com See what you think
  4. Piker, As an Animal Nutritionist and Feed Specialist I'll give you the definitive answer. CSL Pellets are a foodstuff that doesn't contain any additives, growth promoters or unsuitable supplements. They are more or less a straight foodstuff that is derived from the maize plant (after undergoing several extraction processes) whereas Ewe nuts/Sheep nuts etc are specifically designed products that have minerals, trace elements and many cheap fillers added to them to be suitable for feeding to Sheep (ruminants). Ruminants have 4 stomachs and can digest poorer quality nutrients much easier than fish who have a vastly different digestive system. Therefore because the digestibility of Ewe nuts and the like is not of a high enough standard and the fact that additives used in these feeds are possibly dangerous to fish, make no mistake that they should not be used for feeding to fish. In reply to your CSL Liquid question, yes it is obtainable from animal feed suppliers-Did you find any suppliers??
