  1. Hi everyone. I'm trying to locate a replacement bolt and nut (if there is one?) for a multi baitwaiter. This is to suit a standard bank stick fitting. I believe these could be 3/8 bsf but not sure?
  2. Arrived this afternoon. Exactly what I needed. Many thanks for your very kind help and very fast dispatch. Cannot thank you enough. Chris
  3. Thank you so much for your very kind help and assistance. Looking forward to receiving it. If I can help with anything then please ask? Kind regards. Chris
  4. Thank you so much for that. It really will help. Please let me pay you?
  5. Hi there. Thanks for the reply. Just to reiterate. The part that's circled is missing. The picture was downloaded from the internet for reference. I understand about the pin in the main gear. I just didn't know how to explain this. You have one of these reels then? I have uploaded one of my old business cards. Thanks
  6. Hi all. I have an old Intrepid New Deluxe fixed spool reel which, although is getting on a bit now, is still fully functional. Was hoping to set up a small rod with this reel for my Grandson but, unfortunately, have mislaid the small part that fits under the spool, (I have no idea what this is called), but it allows the spool to traverse up and down when the handle is operated. I've uploaded an image of the part that's missing. A real 'long shot' but was wondering if anyone has one of these knocking around or know of someone who may have spares? Thanks in advance
  7. I own a Boss Modulator seatbox (image attached) which suits my needs just fine. However, it doesn't have a backrest and consequently is a little uncomfortable on occasions. I just wondered if anyone owns one of these and as managed to fit a backrest? I am informed that this seatbox is very similar to Daiwa seatboxes?
  8. Thanks peeps. I was just hoping to relocate them to their correct containers. I can guess so its not a major issue. What I have found in the garage is an old drill size template and should be able to make use of this as a guide. That'll be tomorrow now though. All the best
  9. Hi Guys. A bit of a strange question. But here goes anyway. I have had a bit of misfortune with my tackle box and have, what was once boxed, split shot everywhere and all mixed up. I can guess what size most are but was wondering if there is a size chart available anywhere so that I can re-box and label these accordingly. I have looked on the internet but can only find charts relating to weight, which really isn't much use to me in this instance. I seem to recall my Grandad had a red piece of plastic with holes in relating to the individual sizes of the shot. This was obviously many, many years ago and could've easily been home made? As anyone ever come across anything like this?
  10. Thanks for the reply. I'll take a look at those rig boxes and see if they're suitable. I don't want to attach anything directly to the inside of the seatbox itself. Hence why I wanted a tray. If I cannot find what I need I think I'll make an insert from thin plywood? I already have some slotted foam to hold the floats in place. ALL SORTED NOW PEEPS - THANKS !!
  11. Hi guys. Probably a bit of a strange question. But here goes! I have a Boss Modulator seat box which strangely enough is a little limited on space. There is a couple of sliding drawers for pole rigs and so on. These have an internal measurement of 27cm x 37cm maximum. My question is this: Is there a separate tray available for floats that will fit into the pole rig drawers.? Have looked around the net and on EBay but am a getting nowhere. I have a couple of standard plastic float boxes but I was just trying to consolidate the space I have available. Hoping you knowledgeable guys may just be able to help?
  12. Good afternoon all Bit of a 'long shot' but wondered if anyone has a Grandeslam Power Runner 50 fishing reel, which is no longer working that can help with a spare part? I am looking for the Slider Shaft (number 810) shown on the diagram. This operates the anti-reverse mechanism. If that's the correct terminology? Also looking for the integral springs (not shown on image). I have trawled through the internet and have had no joy. Perhaps some kind fellow angler may have details of who manufactures these and perhaps may have contact details?
  13. Hi Peeps. I'm looking for a Mitchell 600 Club fishing reel. These are some years old now so I don't suppose they are manufactured any longer? When entering details online I just get details of sea fishing reels. Anyone help or know where I can get spare parts. I've just tried uploading som picture, but again, this site won't allow this. No idea why?
  14. I have a brand new and unused Grandeslam Power Runner 50 fishing reel for sale. I purchased a couple of these a little while ago but this one as just lying around in the garage. Just thought it may be of use to someone? I've tried to upload pictures but the site won't allow this. I can forward pictures if you need them? £15 plus postage & packing.
  15. Just an update. Have successfully replaced the handle covering on the rod. Got some replacement Duplon from The Tackle Box, used some good old fashioned masking tape to wrap the butt first and then some spray adhesive to attach the Duplon from Wilko. Far batter than the adhesive in a tube. Thanks for your advice peeps.
  16. Hi all. I think I'll just stick (please pardon the pun) with the method I've used for many years. Whip the butt with wool, to create a snug fit for the handle covering if needs be, and good old Evo Stick to secure in place. I don't like the idea of shrink tubing. Just my preference. I did order, and still have a couple of lengths of EVA artificial cork from China, but the bore is far too small. Not enough to be reamed out unfortunately. This would've been ideal for this job. Never mind. Back to the drawing board!
  17. Just looking for some input. I have replaced rod handle covering in the past with cork and, more recently, with Duplon. I always whipped the butt with wool and then glued the Duplon over the top. Not that much of an issue but, using Evo Stick or similar, the adhesive eventually peels away. Anyway, I have decided to fit a screw type reel seat to my old faithful rod together with some new Duplon. I am going to use five minute epoxy for the reel seat but really need advice as to what other adhesives any of you use for attaching the Duplon?
  18. Just joined the forum and wanted to say Hi! Just a 'fair weather' fisherman now I'm afraid but still enjoy the sport when I can get out to wet my bits!
